Our Story

Green Roof Ranch started in 2017 as a simple idea: build a life that's a little closer to the land. What began as a backyard project has grown into a full working homestead with gardens, animals, and more DIY projects than we can count. We're not experts, we're learners. Every fence we build, every coop we fix, every harvest we bring in teaches us something new, and we like sharing that journey instead of hiding it.

What We're About
Animals are a big part of life here the geese, emus, turkeys, and goats. Every one of them has a personality, and most of them have ended up on camera at some point. Alongside the animals, we're constantly building: shelving, shop upgrades, garden beds, fencing, if it makes the homestead run better, we're probably figuring out how to make it ourselves.

Why We Share It
We started posting our projects and animal updates because homesteading can feel overwhelming from the outside, and we wanted to show the real version, including the parts that don't go as planned.
